My Political Leanings: A Member of The "Preservatist" Party.

I am not a #Liberal or a #Conservative. Wisdom can not be isolated. I do not think #Independent is wholly accurate, either. Maybe I'm a #Preservatist. Preserver of #justice. Preserver of the #American way. Preserver of the #Constitution. Preserver of God's way. Preserver of the #gospel. Preserver of #truth. Preserver of #mercy. Preserver of #choice. Preserver of #wisdom/common sense. Preserver of human rights. Preserver of what is right. Preserver of #character and #integrity. Preserver of #Love. Preserver of life. A "Preservatist" indeed I declare I am. A member of the "Preservatist" Party are you? Will you? #Sincerity, #Authenticity, #Transparency and #Convergence (Spirit, Soul, and Body) -Yulanda K. Jones

Sincere Gratitude: A Public Letter of Thanks to Chief Justice Roberts and the Supreme Court

June 28th, 2012 To: Chief Justice John Roberts and All U.S. Supreme Court Justices From: Yulanda K. Jones (U.S. Citizen) Re: Thanks I do not want this to sound partisan or political, as if I am a Democrat or liberal rubbing salt in the wounds. As I said many times before, I do not think in terms of right or left, but only what is right that as many as possible, never get left. And always, I want and will fight for freedom and justice for all. This is sincere. I would like to thank Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts for upholding the law and constitutionality of several points of the Affordable Health Care Act, regardless of what may be personal opinion of the policy. For that is the purpose of the highest court of our great land, the US Supreme Court, and not politics. The system our founders constructed and implemented, still works. We must and can get back to the basics. This decision may be the glimmer of hope and the beginnings of a shift, where "checks and balances" between the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches, actually work, and to the benefit of "We The People". The Court, and no court or any limb of the judicial branch should ever politically lean one way or the other, or be viewed as partisan. The decision on "Obamacare" was constitutionally the right thing to do. I say thanks to all the Justices that rightly and legally discerned the law; upholding the law. And thanks once again to Chief Justice Roberts for the "swing" vote in the right direction. -Yulanda K. Jones

My Personal Ode to Honey Nut Cheerios

Cheerios. Can you feel me yo? They're good no matter what, but When you add the honey and the nuts... How sweet indeed. Oh more than a joke from Steve, them I need. Dripping, but never soggy in cool milk, I go for the two percent. But the Honey Nut Cheerios are in fat so low, I can afford every now and then to use milk that's whole. Oh how I love Me some Honey Nut Cheerios. Peace In, Yulanda K. Jones ; )

Check One. Check All!

For the most part, The U.S. Supreme Court got it right concerning Arizona's Immigration law and its' constitutionality. Obviously, the status check portion that stands is still disturbing. Any white, black or "non-Latino looking" person will most likely not get a "status check". Thus, this measure legalized racism. The only way it could not be racist or bias is if all Arizona law enforcement acted like the TSA and randomly checked all regardless of race, age or gender. (I jest, but it would be better.) But seriously. Check one, Check all! This should be the cry of all Arizonians and all Americans that still believe in justice, and freedom for all. I am vehemently pro-protection of our borders, but this is flat-out wrong and moves the country backward 60 years. Again. Check one, Check all! If we or any state is going to single out a particular race, then calling all illegal immigrants other than Latino. Move to Arizona. They will be so distracted looking for Mexicans, surely it will be the safest place for you. Congratulations to President Obama and the WhiteHouse for fighting some of the ridiculous measures found in this law, and for the most part getting a win. Keep fighting Arizonians. You can stop it at the state/local level. As one that believes we do need longterm immigration reform and realistically deal with illegal residents, I was never against all of the legislation. But the parts that were struck down and the part discussed in this blog, is as intolerable as illegal immigration itself. As said before on other subjects. Impede or obstruct any ones freedom and justice, and every ones freedom and justice will be in danger. USA 2012? Disgusting. We have to do better. Yulanda K. Jones

Unconditional Love, The Golden Rule, and the Strait and Narrow Way.

Almost all religions/philosophies subscribe to the Golden Rule; Do unto others as you would have done unto you. So, even with unconditional #love, we all have an expectation to b treated/receive what we give out. And if negative actions , we expect that back to, but love can intervene. To do to others as you would have them do to you (positively), always expecting it in return, but deciding to continue to do good even before you know responses, and/or regardless of negative responses, is #unconditional love. In this case, expectation and hope must always be kept for the turning of the receivers and for justice. This is the strait and narrow way. But, whether early or late, God will intervene and do justice. It's better to do it yourself (love and return love) to the greatest extent possible. Concerning Jesus Christ, this is the working of the gospel. God gave His son, Jesus, who gave His life, for the sake of love. There is an eternal (as long as there is breath in your body, or Jesus has not made His final return) expectation for all to return that love to the greatest extent possible. To help us, God gives us mercy, grace and His Holy Spirt. -Yulanda K. Jones

Forgiveness and Repentance for Reconciliation: Dealing With The Offended And The Offenders

*This started off as a 140 character tweet and grew and grew. I jump around a little. I confess. Forgive me, I repent. I am purposely mentioning a name, not to stir up. I know this man is anointed, but we have to fix some stuff. Souls hang in the balance and we have been losing in everyday life as a whole. Be blessed in your reading.* Relationships have become so disposable. Divorce is more than 50% in the world and in the Church, and God says He hates divorce.Friendships aren't fought for anymore. In fact, often if you fight for friendship, people accuse you of fear of rejection. I love the story Pastor Joel told of Gavin McCloud and his wife, today. Now, there is a time to let go, but there is also time to fight. God could be doing something in you. Perhaps you are too docile and stopped listening to God. You made up in your mind you were going to always let go and forgive no matter what. Or perhaps, you always fight. You made up in your mind, you will always fight and get what you call justice. In either case, since its already been decided, God and the Holy Spirit is irrelevant and worthless. No need for guidance. God can allo be doing something for the era or entire generation. Sometimes, God needs a body of people or a specific community to get a message. Look at how God used Jonah for Ninevah. But Jonah wanted them to not repent and be destoyed, another story. And yet, there were other cities that didnt get a man guided by God with a message. We must hear God whether or not to let go or stand your ground. But both are always options with God. He is a healer and a unifier. So we know whatever He calls for it will yield true reconciliation, not patch work, individually and inter-dependantly. But true love and wholeness isnt being accomplished because I don't think its preached enough. The "Move Forward", "Oh well, It's their loss" message has over powered. If God never leaves or forsakes? If He is faithful when others are not? Why not we who are made in His image, especially those made sons through Jesus Christ? But iit seems lately, we are first to abandon ship, in order to fulfil our own personal destiny. There has to be true loyalty, and faithfulness and somebody has to be first. Paul touches on this by constantly writing of the oneness and unity in the Spirit. He even speaks of his desire and heart to unify with those outside of Christ. Im debtor to the Jew and Greek, wise and unwise, he says. And read his love letter to his jewish brethren in Romans 9 through 11. He continues to preach the truth of Jesus, but forever longs for reconcilition w/ all and wisely finds that strait and narrow way. After Jesus, he is my hero. Paul even lays out rules for marriage, even when you are left or rejected (very few teach or adhere to it). So whats at issue. It's how to fight, and when. This means hearing from God. But its hard to hear all sides when only one side is being presented. We have been preaching forgiveness, but perhaps we should add the other half; repentance and saying "I am sorry". How long will the offender go unchecked. If he refuses, there are remedies. Manifold wisdom of God, every layer, and the entire spectrum is needed now. Whether we fight or not, it should be due to obedience to God and the motive must be pure. Do whatever God says, do all in #Love, for Love, and never out of bitterness or revenge, that there may be wholeness & total healing. No more band aids. But understand, true recociliation comes when there is both forgiveness and repentantace available. #Consider what I say. I'd love 2speak 1 on 1 with any concerning these things. There is a time to just forgive, move forward and let it go. And, there's a time for accountability. Not condemnation, but accountability in the hope it leads to godly sorrow and repentance. It takes both. Paul says, "I delivered him up to Satan". You cant hold one much more accountable. But, in 2 Corinthians, he seems to almost apologize, because though he knew he had to do it for the sake of all of the Corinthians and the soul of that particular person, it was out of love and mercy and care. It wasn't just being harsh or a lack of understanding by Paul (Mr. Grace himself) of the finished work of Christ. How do you know when to hold one, even a Christian responsible? It's not by how big or little we think the sin is, or how many times. But it's by the #HolySpirit. He knows when someone, or a place needs to confess/repent. As I have said before, read Revelations chapters 1through 3. Jesus was very specific in what particular sins each Church had to deal with and what works they did that were wrong or what works needed to be done. Also,so you know perfection and living a sinless life with no need for repentance is possible, Jesus also commends part of one Church and another whole church (the church of Philadelphia). These two, needed no repentance and only good was spoken of them and reward. They needed no repentance at all. Jesus knows. He tells the other churches, out of love and concern, how to correct, and what will happen if not. There is no dispute. Yes, the blood of Jesus has cleansed us from all our sins. Walk in love, and you will stay cleansed. But if not, repent. No excuses. Do not ignore it. Preachers must address all sides, even case by case. Some of these generalizations has caused more harm. We must address the offended and the offender, now. Its been so lop sided for so long, because it's easier to deal with the bruised than the bruiser. The #strait/narrow way perfectly sees both sides, and rightly divides what is needed for a situation. Look at our world. Look at the Church. The gates of Hell will not prevail, because of the ones bold enough to remind us and hold us to truth. Yes. Go and sin no more was made possible by the blood of Jesus and grace, but what do you do if you do sin again? That is the question. Consider. If a person considered 2 be holy repents when he misses it, wont many who dont think they are holy repent? And if those considered holy wont repent, most will not. To whom much is given, much is required. Imagine pushing a lady down a staircase, and then just stepping over her, saying Jesus died once, I am forgiven. Now imagine doing it again and again and never confessing or saying I am sorry. I submit to you, when you confess it, you are less likely to do it again. Something happens. Dr Stanley's message was right this morning. You know when even as a Christian there is sin you have to address. You also know when theres nothing to address, even when others think there is. I tell you, the key is the #HolySpirit, not letter by letter instruction. Your race is tailor made. You know what you need to do and when and to whom. Consider, and do it. Leave nothing undone. I do not have the big pulpit and following, but I am who God says I am. You pray. You study. You judge. If I misunderstood the message of Dr. Dollar both this week and last, I am sorry. But its not coming out right. You are making Christians look like unaccountable jerks, that are now never wrong and never will be again because of the blood, when its clear to all, even other Christians, that you are wrong (not particularly Dr. Dollar but christians that clearly have sinned in general). When you aren't in sin, but others accuse, thats a different story. Jesus was perfect, and yet greatly accused, even by John the Baptist of wrong doing. I know the scriptures Dr. Creflo Dollar is coming from, and I excel in dividing the Word, but again, it's coming out wrong. Consider, sir. The world is watching. But let each examine himself. SuperPacks: Wrong or Right. Freedom for the Rich? Jury is still out.

Still #thinking, but I'm not sure if I'm totally against "superpacks". It's the quid pro quo (which doesn't have to be just about money), the gamesmanship, and lies. #Consider #truth. Why shouldn't money be allowed 2back truth, & the right person 4the right job w/o receiving anything in return? But, just because they believe in what is right & they are only putting their money where their mouth is. It's the shady stuff we don't like, whether it involves money or not. To say the rich can't use money wisely/honestly that they earned, could be another way to punish rich, like higher tax rates for them (#flat tax is the way to go). But I'm still thinking. I hope to enter the political/public servant realm. I have integrity. I could be given 1billion dollars and still be trusted to do what is right even if it's against the interest of the billion dollar donor. But then, I may not get the billion. So, I have to trust the voter and go grassroots. I conclude the real issue is the integrity/back bone of the politician, and misinformed, easily tricked voters that can be fooled by an onslaught of ads filled with half truths and flat-out lies, made possible by big money from individuals and superpacks. But again, I'm still thinking. Evil happens when good people do nothing. Good people do nothing because they do not want to or are ignorant. The way our system was set up by our founders, I believe truth and justice, integrity from campaigners and those that hold office, and most importantly, the well informed voter that doesn't look left, right, or even center but votes for what is right and consistent with America, will win and beat shadiness, no matter how much cash. Naive? If you think so, that may be the problem. But again, I am still thinking. God Bless America Yulanda K. Jones

Reconciliation. Some Good News and Proof Gods A Healer/Miracle Worker

Hello All,

The email below is from Benny Hinn who was going through a divorce with his wife. Everyone thought it was over, and the jokes flowed. Physician, heal thyself. But faithfulness has won. Mr and Mrs Hinn has clearly walked by faith and not by sight. I mean not to be unsympathetic to those that thought it best to move forward, or absolutely had to, nor do I suggest divorce is always due to a lack of faith. I am only exalting the blessing, the victory, and as a true "Pollyanna", showing proof of this emphatically inner, unchanging belief of mine that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD. Read Pastor Hinn's email. I am sure there is more on his site.

Thank you. You are blessed to BE whole, complete, even perfect and like God.

-Yulanda K. Jones

Why I am impressed with President Obama's Illegal Immigrant Youth Measure

I love to give honor where honor is due. Pres. Obama's illegal immigrant youth "measure" was extremely wise, and showed care. I already tweeted of the part I did not like. Here's why I love this "measure": 1) It stops the effectiveness of "gamesmanship" by Rep. Legislators. 2)Gives a short term solution to a real dilemma, which in turn puts pressure on Congress to pass a longterm solution. 3) The fact it wasn't a presidential order just to side step Congress, but creative use of the powers of the Justice Dept., means any future President/head of Justice Dept can just make a different call. Brilliant Mr. President. And most of all 4) He found a way to ACT on behalf of the people and BE president, rather than just a campaigning pundit. Well done, sir. President Barack Obama, 4 MORE YEARS!

You Are The Righeousness of God by Faith. Now do Righteousness!

Let me clear something up. The other day, my song was We Fall down. My point was a righteous man, if he falls will get up, NOT that he becomes automatically unrighteous each time he falls. So, 1) How does 1 get up; confession/repentance even if 70x7 times a day. 2) If man is in image of God, & you sin against him, you ought 2go 2him & repent also, not just 2God/make it right. And 3) What happens if a "saint" doesnt get up.
These are my points.

Be Careful. Do not take salvation for granted. Do Christians still have to confess and repent.

Read my prior posts, I have said this b4. True godly sorrow and condemnation arent the same, repent, say I'm sorry, forgive. But also, Israel (please dont get offended, talking 2 Christians now) were comfortable/confident in the fact alone they were sons of Abraham. No sin could change that, & Gods covenant is w/ the sons of Abraham. Yet, Jesus says God'll raise up stones in their stead. You may say I have faith, but w/o out righteousness that corresponds to that faith, danger. Hence, Revelations 1 to 3. Be careful w/ this teaching on I dont have 2repent, I got faith & the blood of Jesus. You do, but if you begin to act outside of the light and blood, which you will forever have choice to do so, you must repent. And when you dont, you'll get further and further away and not even realize it. Be careful.
Luke 3:8
Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
Romans 11:21
For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Revelation of John 2:5 (read chapts 1 to 3 WRITTEN TO THE already SAVED)
Remember therefore from whence THOU ART FALLEN, AND REPENT, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, AND WILL REMOVE thy candlestick out of his place, EXCEPT THOU REPENT.

What has happened?

As I've said b4,Romans 3:4...let God be true & every man a liar, is the beginning of perfection & where all mercy is found. The unjust &/or ignorant of righteousness have come 2think & say (almost as w/ accusation), there's something wrong w/ the righteous, esp. those that stand their ground. This is a fundamental, core mistake in the world, much more than just actual mistakes or even willful wrong doing. When some1 is willfully rebellious, theres light in knowing they knew what is right. Its 1thing when theres struggle, or mistakes, but lack of acknowledging/understanding what right is, is the greatest problem. Even worse, trying to change what is just in2 what we have been doing 4so long; justifying what isnt just. This is why in certain context, I hate the word compromise, especially when one side is innocent. Iits punishing the just(even if just a little), & rewarding the unjust (even if just a little). #character.
I will state again, in all matters, in all areas, I did nothing wrong, not even in retaliation and will not. I will stand my ground & fight a good fight of faith.

Stop! No Race Wars, Nor Religious Wars in America or World . Here's an email I received. I wanted to post it and my replies.

The original email:
As THE majority,we can change everything if we individually call upon God in the name of Jesus Christ and follow His ways:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_the_United_States

This is the only answer:

EVERYChristian voices their opinion through the polls in support of Christian values only based on actual record,no matter what

EVERYChristian voices their opinion through the marketplace with businesses in support of Christian values, no matter what

EVERYChristian voices their opinion through boycotting any media source including TV or business that is anti-Christian affecting freedom of speech, religion, press

Put them out of business. No more emails about "the problems". Problems solved.

Ephesians 4:4-6

My Replies to the email.

First reply
Why was I sent this. I dont believe that its Christians God ordained authority to put others out of business or control the world. Peace on Earth and Good will to ALL MEN SAYS THE SCRIPTURE! God rains on the just and un just says the scripture. The goodness of God leads to repentance says the scripture. God gives choice. He doesnt force. And all men have destiny and purpose. Some will reach their purpose before salvation or w/o ever being saved, though as a Christian my prayer is for salvation. And also, everyone deseves life, libery and pursuit of happiness. Thats human rights. Its america and its godly.
It disturbs me that this was most likely sent by one who doesnt wholly believe or understand the scripture. It is in this case, looking like more of us against them, not by the Christians. It appears someone put this out there to say christians will stick w/ their kind and want to take over, so lets get them first. If im wrong, im sorry, but please give me another explanation. Follow me on twitter. Check me out on Facebook. And follow my blog. All can be found through my name Yulanda K. Jones or email , prayer911@aol.com. Im a Christiian and wholly believe in the bible and jesus, but it has been greatly misinterpreted. Please, study to show yourself approved. We need the right ppl in the right jobs at right time, whether Christian or not. God can use anyone, anytime. And love never fails. Im so bold about making sure this is explained right, ill even leave my number and go through the scriptures. I give scriptures and the gospel by preaching, not legislation or force and thats the bible way!

Greatest day ever! :-)

Second reply:
One more thing. Who is this person to say EVERY CHRISTIAN. They clearly dont know me. If i said every white person, or every Muslim, it would be bigotry. Why isnt this considered bigotry against Christianity. And its not accurate. Thats why we need real preachers and not just ppl who can read. Similar to there are real lawyers and lay men that just know the law!

If you, whoever you are, really want truth. Contact me.

This is america. I am free to be openly Christian. As you are to be Jewish, muslim, Buddhist, Scientologist, atheist or agnostic. You cant have it both ways. The first amendment is what it is. And I will boldly say, being openly Christian, ive unjustly treated no one, and was even kicked out of my Church for defebding all, Christians and non-christians. Yet, w/o compromising my faith. It is the strait and narrow way that few can enter in at. Mathew 7. Read Mathew 5 and 1 Corinthians 13. These two chapters alone, make it impossible for a Christian to behave the way the email writer suggests. The bible says in Galatians, the fulfilment of all the law is to love thy neighbor as thyself. My neighbor is all in the world, not just Christians. But we speak/preach truth in love, this is in the same book of Ephesians the email writer comes from. My job is again to present truth & give choice, but not force or mistreat or do injustice if you dont accept! Please believe me. Any Christian who says otherwise is in era. Stop this. Ppl like emails instead of real conversation, or if they cant twist your arm and make you believe what they want. Again, ive wronged no man, Jew, Gentile, or other.
