The Church and Gays in the Military/Gay Marriage: A Stupid Fight

Gays in the military? Gay marriage?

Church wake up. People are dying and going to hell. And they are living hell on Earth in this life. According to God and His Word, homosexuality is wrong. But we are fighting whether or not a particular kind of sinner fights for his/her country? Before you met Christ, you were a liar, thief, hypocrite, etc. and you were allowed to fight in an army or was allowed in whatever kind of profession you chose. And how many promiscuous, adulterers get married everyday? Are these sinners better or is sin sin says your Word and your God. Fight the right fights. If you continue to try to take their freedom to yes, even live in unrighteousness, then yours will be taken to live in righteousness. And that of your children. And that of your children's children. Preach the gospel of the Kingdom. Get that faith in gear and expect changes of minds and hearts. Is this not what we were told to do; to go city to city and preach? Were we not told to go person to person and if they don't accept, to shake the dust off? Yes. There must be laws to protect us from harming one another and to keep our property and basic human rights. But if we keep trying to tighten a noose, like Haman, we will be the ones bound and hanged. God laid before us life and death and gave us all a choice. Do the same and give them a choice. I am not suggesting we write or encourage the righting of legislation or that we have to vote for propositions and laws that promotes any sin. Not a law for gambling, prostitution, or gay marriage. But I am saying, do not discriminate and become bigots and haters. Fight the right fights, the right way. How did gays in the military turn religious/political? They were living together, having sex already. Does the paper make it more of a sin? Go after the souls through preaching and prayer.

And to every gay rights activist and leader; and to the government. Stop trying to make and threaten those of us who are simply trying to live our faith, preside over things we do not believe. Our faith is out of your jurisdiction. We have a freedom of religion and way of life too. Where's our tolerance? Where's our civil rights protection? Its one thing to be tolerant and walk in love, but to make any judge or preacher actually preside over what they truly don't believe is ridiculous. This makes you the biased, hypocrites you call everyone else. This includes catholic adoption agencies too. There are plenty of judges and even religious figures that would willingly help you; marry you. There are plenty of agencies to adopt children, where faith is not an issue.

Let's all be a little more fair and just. No patient should be turned down at a hospital. No person should be turned away from the church. No one should be excluded from their chosen profession (sinners who want to preach may be problematic. Case by case.). No one should be forced to believe what they don't believe. As long as no one's basic human rights and needs are discriminated against, we can and will all get along.
