We Once Were Lost. I Have Been Found. Were You?
We Once Were Lost. I Have Been Found. Were You?
A Question For Every Believer. It's Time To Come To The Full Knowledge Of Truth.
Why I'm so strong about staying connected to Hempstead.
Many say send me I'll go. I am one. But some dismiss oftentimes the possibility of being already sent where as your place of deployment is exactly where you already are and always was and perhaps, from birth or the beginning.
This has to do with physical location, as well as the very soulish location or essence of who you are at heart. One of my favorite song's lyrics are as follows:
There is none like You.
No one does the things that You do.
I can search for all eternity long (and find)
There is none like You.
I, for quite sometime now have translated the song, refusing to any longer sing the above lyrics, but will only sing over the beloved, sweet melody these following words:
I am just like You.
I can do all the things that You do.
I can search for eternity long (But I've found)
I am just like You.
My version of the song is absolutely more and most accurate. I do not even have to get religiously deep. It is the very first chapter of the bible that says God made mankind in His image and likeness; both male and female. It is only after sin, the concept of not being like God enters. If the sin issue is gone, than the believer must re adopt the fact we are like God. There are now ones just like Him. If I'm the only one, so be it.
Secondly, the original lyrics sends us all on an everlasting search, that ends with a lie. This is disturbing. Not only arrival to the lie that we are not like Him disturbs, but also that we come to that conclusion after an everlasting search. To cast down that lyrical thought I go to this verse:
2 Timothy 3:7
Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
I say all this to continue to get every believer to know they are as God is, and the truth is closer than you think. Search if you must, but the answer is here, and always has been. Stop the wild goose chase. There's so much work to be done.
I was sent; soulishy and physically. I love me some me, even as I love God and all of you. For me, there is no difference. Some think it blasphemous, but look again. Love is love and God is love.
Likewise, I conclude my physical location is also right and right for me. I am sent. It seems to me, the place considered darkest, like Hempstead, needs greater light and needs to be closest to light. Not that Hempstead is as bad as most think, but there is a negative stigma. We can't make darkness bright by always plucking from it light sent to it. And this is so often done in problematic cities and areas in America and the world; whether the label is accurate and deserved or not. I've written prior of those born in war torn places that know better and can do better and make a difference should start at home first. There are exceptions, but not many.
I will not be compared to, marginalized or defined by what Hempstead has been labeled. But Hempstead will be compared to and redefined by who I am, what I accomplish, and what I BE. I boast, but it is what it is. This is faith and truth. Faith equaling truth is where the Body has to be now. This equals manifested glory for the believer and unbeliever. This is the very definition of liberty and justice for all.
Consider. Replace my name with yours. Replace my story and location with yours. And let us change the world.
Peace In and extended out,
-Yulanda K.
*Hempstead is the largest incorporated village in America, and is home to nearly every nationality, culture and race. It is great, and is about to make an open shew of its greatness*
