Israel-Hamas-The Gaza Strip Nov. 2012
There is a time when it is right to insert knowledge of religions in government and military conflicts. It is in dealing with the Middle East.
I have yet to see one that understands both sides, Israel's or Hamas/Palenstines, epecially understanding the conflict by way of each of their religious perspectives; the core, to attempt peace.
All prior have tried to broker peace by way of reasoning with political factions or through governmental policies. You can't. While you can not bridge peace without governmental leaders, not just between Israel and Hamas, but in all Middle Eastern matters, you really need true religious leadership; true and pure religious leadership from Islam and of Judaism is needed most.
Because of true care for innocent lives, sometimes well intentioned people can make it worse. The things done in the 1990's concerning the same areas at the heart of this conflict could have never made longterm peace and safety. If you knew me or heard me (perhaps some of you did), then you'd know I said these things before and in the 90's.
The solution is to speak with religious leaders who have and will keep integrity to each religion, and not just with those in government power or military power. The key word is integrity. We need those who will apply pure wisdom per Judaism and pure per Islam to sit at the table. They will see peace. Again. The key word is integrity. We do not need those looking to use the religions as a shield or excuse. We have been content to work with those who are willing to betray religion even for a seemingly good cause, and some who know they are for an unrighteous cause. It's deception and futile to keep going this route; insanity.
Many "good" religious people live here. they are well-intentioned and desire peace and safety, especially for innocent life, but the treaties and deals are always only short-term because inevitably angst is heightened and re-ignited as the citizens, especially the restless, unbridled passion of youth in their religious studies. As they read and study religious documents daily, which is their custom, they will see injustice and will fight to make what is wrong right. In religious zeal, righteouness trumps peace. It doesn't matter whether we agree, this is their faith; Islamic nations AND Israel. So, it behooves us to bring peace by way of religious righteousness and not exclude religion. And also, it is wise to do it by way of true religious leaders on both sides that can accuratly explain what is done and why. If not, fighting will always find a way to resume. I may say more later, but consider what I say.
God bless America. God bless Israel. And God bless ALL the world. Yes! God bless the Islamic Middle East too, including Palenstine and Egypt. If we start here, we can all win.
Peace In!

P.S. For all Christians who think I speak outside of Christ, you are wrong. Peace on Earth and good will toward ALL MEN; believer or not. We are to set an atmosphere of freedom that each may of their own free will, freely choose Christ if they are compelled. And we establish justice for all.

PS. I FaceBooked this piece uneditted on Tuesday, November 20th, 2012, but I thought it best to add it to my blog with some adjustments, but basically the same.
Afternotes:
Subsequent to the above, I learned President Obama sent or was sending Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to broker a deal between Israel and Palenstine, as both sides claimed a desire for a cease-fire.
Below were my immediate tweets about that.
I adore Bill, but Pres. Obama does well in sending the other Clinton; STILL Sec. of State Hillary Clinton 2deal w/ Israel/Hamas conflict. Good.
(W/last post) I scheduled another comment about Israel/Hamas written earlier(the piece above, but uneditted) that will post@12:35p.
It has 2do w/ the longterm.
Peace!
Y.K.
