I Must Continue Until Repentance Comes
We have to accurately portray the full gospel as best we can. Wouldn't it be easier to just confess and say I'm sorry than preaching to your victim about unforgiveness, especially when the accusation is not true?
We are to forgive. Yes. But imagine the person is Hell bent on continuing with you and doing it to other people?
Imagine while some one is punching a person in the face again and again, they preach to that person about unforgiveness while they are still punching. Or, it is just as bad if they are watching another punch you.
If you walk in on a person being violated in anyway. Even if you are Jesus Christ. Do you first stop the assault or preach about unforgiveness? And parents. If they are both your children do you not teach both forgiveness and repentance?
There is an insidious hope by some of my victimizers. We will terrorize her until she becomes like us and do it too. Or until we successfully take away everything from her and steal all. And we will do it FOREVER until she is moved either way. And the ace in the hole is that if she says anything or cries for justice, we still have her. We will now say she is in unforgiveness and that's the sin. She is as we are. They have lied, cheated and distorted to make these things happen. I'm perfect because I perfectly follow the Lord. If you know differently, state your case and allow me to repent. Or, if you believe in forgiveness no matter what then get me back in my Church, tell my family to tell the truth, give me credit for every word an idea stolen, promote me on my job, and open every door. Place me in every rightful place I have been graced by God for. But you will not have this both ways.
We will not bend or bow. And what they don't understand is that we are crying out not just for ourselves but for their souls too. Repent. That's what God is saying. Confess and repent and deliver me!
