HELP!

Graced and sent I Am to BOTH Religion and Government.

To all my true Muslim friends pre-forgive the example below. But it is necessary to shine a light :)

Help! My Muslim employers say if I want to keep my job I have to wear a Burqa. Help! They say they are going to protest and make the government make me be covered up if they can not just fire me. They are nice people. They sincerely worship Allah. They moved to this country because of our religious freedom! Help! But now they force me to follow Allah to keep my job, so they can freely worship. Help! They say if I go to a different site, I can keep my job and not wear the Burqa. The government seems to support me and my religious freedom to say no, but the employers insist. I'm a Christian. But I guess I'm doomed. The employer has power and freedom. The government has power, but I have none. I am just one with my own beliefs and I love my job and my bosses for that matter. Is any on my side?

Scene.

I guarantee many right wingers, Conservatives, the Moral right, Focus on the Family and all Evangelicals, not to mention the ACLJ would boldly and quickly come to my defense. But the reason they would is not out of justice, fairness, and the law, but because of Christian bias and it is not right.

The same that would defend me in my example, support HobbyLobby and it is wrong. Not only is it wrong, but if successful, it will set up precedents for every employer of every religion and many employees will be screaming help! Then, the only way to peace will be religious segregation, not IN the work place but per work place period. Is that a blessed America? It wouldn't even be America. No knitted structure and no melting pot. No good.

We have an issue of doublemindedness and blindness due to Christian bias. Many on the Religious Right use the First Amendment inappropiately to get their way and not the American way. They apply it boldly to their religion alone and not to everyone. In the case of Hobby Lobby, has everyone that defends the employers, and has the employers themselves read through the amendment, rightly divided it, and then applied it to BOTH employer AND each employee? Is that not the right thing to do?

In a hospital, birth control, morning after pills/abortive contraception, and abortions are given for numerous reasons. In these cases, is the Administration/Board of the Hospital, every supervisor, and all staff responsible for the decisions each patient and/or family make? Are they not just offering options, which if America is to remain a free state a must? Is the entire hospital, assuming they are all Christian, violating their personal faith or if the patient uses the option and is Christian or otherwise? responsible alone. Such is the case with Hobby Lobby. They are per the Government to give equal access to all options such that the individual can choose.  Which is exactly what God does with all of us every single day!

I keep saying it! Every religion ought to use the First Amendment for personal protection of rights and to preach the gospel that they might influence others, but never force! The gospel is the power for all change unto salvation and including all things in between! 

Jesus did not come to tear down Rome! Render to Caesar what is Caesars, to America what is Americas and to God what is God's. The problem is many have blurred all or perhaps never knew where the lines should be drawn!

Jesus didn't come to tear down external government, though we are to set wise rules of regulation for justice and the safety of all society! But He came that the kingdom of God might be within each of us, such that we can reign and rule ourselves first and that no outside force or secular offer can move us! The ACA is just another offer, and not making you do anything. If any is moved by what is offered, then they are drawn away by their own lusts! It is not the governments fault, nor any employer!

We are to be changed by Liberty and a willingness and not by force, but by example, and speech and influence, and not be overpowering, nor by withholding and denying some people from certain choices. That denial of even the right to make bad personal choices is what Hobby Lobby is doing and is guilty of, not the American government.

The big issue is that many are graced to be in Government. Many are graced to serve in Religious Matters. But very few are graced and sent to do both. So, we see great error across the board.

We can do all things (or all the things we are sent to do) through Christ which strengthens (or graces) us (to do those things). This is the proper, full interpretation of Phillipians 4:13.

If we are not careful we will win battles only to lose wars.

Think about all! Don't just fight to fight. Fight good, right, reasonable fights. This is right and righteous.

God Bless America. It was built on Judeo-Christian values, but it is not Jewish or Christian. It stands for liberty and justice for ALL, period.
