Oh! Do not misunderstand. There was a time for Affirmative Action, for many were qualified but racism and sexism denied.

We honor those that have gone before us, for because of the doors opened even by Affirmative Action, and those that walked through them, many of us now will not have to use that necessary measure to counteract injustice. But we will stand confidently on our efforts, accomplishments, talents and by grace. We will not have to get that "look". All will know we have fairly and justly arrived by passion and purpose having righteously competed with all and was found to be the best around!
