Have women been scared out of fighting for "women issues" fearing they will seem too "girly" and wanting to keep up with men? Of couse, we are not to be marginalized by health issues and liberation causes. We are as interested in the economy, war, education, infrustructure, all other topics that shape this nation. But we will not exclude the issues that are far more associated and indeed almost exclusively effect women. I hate splitting the genders. In general it is not my practice, but the only valid difference is biological. Viagara, and vasectomies are mens issues, but it isn't outwardly addressed in elections because men are on the same page. There is no question. These and the use of these are left to each mens personal choice. And even if in a relationship, no one suggests they have to talk to their spouse or significant others first. Which would be right, but again men are left to freely decide. And these procedures and prescriptions are often provided by all healthcare plans and employers without question. So, they are never a political issue. But abortion, birth control (which is the point of most vasectomies), and pregnancy are womens issues. The fact that they have to be politicized to get solutions is disturbing and aggravating enough, but we will not be tricked into not making them issues. God gave men tools in reproduction. You have a responsibility. But it's your responsibility. God gave women tools and control over certain aspects of reproduction. Let us take responsibility. It's God given. And to both, we say submit one to another. And to both we say to whom much is given, much is required. Yulanda K.
