Favor Grace and Work: O My
Favor Grace and Work: O My!
A look at all in Mathew 25 and some of my meditation
Favor is fair even when it is rained on the unjust because our place was set b4 the foundations of the world. But what will u do w/ this favor? Thats where #responsibility & #accountabilty comes in. Then, theres a promotion that is indeed earned by works done. Lets look at Matthew 25.
He gave according 2 their several ability (grace; unearned). Their character is not discussed or factored in. Look@ the 1 he gave 1, the image of grace w/ poor character, yet he is given something to start with. When the master returns, what was done had everything to do w/ promotion (work). This is the perfect example of #grace (called several ability in the text given by God w/o works) and works or responsibility (using said grace/ability by faith), and therefore made worthy or earned more.
It is important to note. We only know that they went to the market place and made and exchange and received more. We do not know exactly what work was done. Also, the marketplace is all the world, so it is not limited to just business. I say this to emphasize we are not to compare our selves w/ one another, but only obey and do the corresponding work to the faith or instructions given by God to us individually or to a group, like a local church, whether it comes directly from God and his Spirit or by way of leadership in the church, at the job, or in the home. Jesus does give clues though, that whatever the work is, it always have something to do directly or indirectly w/ caring for the least of us. And in doing so, you've done it to Him. You could be hands on, going to prisons, starting food banks, etc. Or, you could be a funder of these through your business profits. Or, you are a pastor that inspires and encourages these things to be done & educates on the importance and the godly way to do it. Maybe, you're in government, ie a lawyer, politician, or police officer that makes/enforces rules that allows you to better help or protects you from falling into a "least" category by making and enforcing laws of justice. Or, maybe you are in media and you spotlight to honor or help build up a local program that is doing these things.
Now, understand the master. He gave, went away, and returned to see the state of what he left in the hands of others who absolutely were capable, there for responsible, therefore accountable. In other words, he didnt put more on them then any of them could bear. Two things. I hate to bring it up again, but there was no test at the hands of the master. He left and came back. But also, though he was clearly master and owner of all, to the ones that did well, he allows them to enter His joy and be rulers. Once again, there is a joint heir and equality that we have yet as a whole grasped, but we will. And for those of you that say thats the next life, then we have to throw out several passages of scripture and stop healing and talking wealth. Why are those things now, but not equality.
Lastly, I started with favor is fair. I know "favor aint fair" is popular and excites. But our Word says God is just. Who are we comfortable w/ this Good all the time God being unfair to? Also, as one favored, who am I excited over being treated unfairly for my sake? But the word is clear, all rejoice when the righteous or just are exalted. Just something to think about. When the one who had 5 and the one who had 2 was at work, they didnt try to take the one of the 3rd that was buried, though clearly they knew what to do with it. Only the master can justly take it away and give it to another. And was it unfair? No. The 3rd servant was giving the same amount of time, and was judged to be able to handle the one. Then, God still didnt just snatch it, but He gave opportunity for an account. The master even gave an alternative to going to the market directly. He (the servant w/ 1) could have given of his own will, his talent to the exchangers, ie the ones w/ 5 and 2. But again, they couldnt just take it. It is only after this, that the master destroys that servant and gives his ability and charge according to that ability away. I will add about myself, though I am not slothful, in my condition of seclusion by obedience, Im so grateful for social media. It is my way of giving to the exchangers, though I know some preach out of contention and to steal honor not earned. But its worth it for those of you who are honestly using it and serving the revelations and information, sympathetically because I can not. And to help others who need to hear these things.
What really bugs me about the 3rd servant is he not only buried his talent, meant to bless the whole world, but even when the master came, he didnt have the decency to dig it up/dust it off and at least present it. He said to God, I buried and thats where it is. Like now you go and dig it up. Omg. Smh. No lol!!
But at this point it is fair because the servant is no longer walking the Earth to use it. The talent, substance is still needed to help the world. As long as theres breath in your body, but after that, the Lord will take it away and get use of it.
I can go on about the symbolism of 5, 2, 1. But not now.
This is enough, see you.
Amen.
