RealRodParsley: How would you regulate a powerful drug - maybe get doctors involved? Or, take the government's approach: http://t.co/ZESkWa3Uzs #cmc

@RealRodParsley

I'm with you sir. But your argument uses a "when does life begin" point and position, and that has been already settled via Roe v. Wade.  Whether you agree with it or not, it is the law of the land.

The better moral reasoning that is right and consistent with our laws and general values is that minors are supposed to have adult council and supervision in most matters. That's why we call them minors and even have states responsible for them if no other adult or legal guardian can be found.  The psychological/mental damage on especially young girls, not yet fully developed mentally, is a better argument for opposition against PlanB or any abortive pill being made available over-the-counter because  this argument is  consistent with other laws that governs minors. There are so many other things minors can't do at all. They can neither purchase or consume many things equally or much less harmful such as Alcohol, cigarettes, even certain movies and other forms entertainment and other medicines. And even to drive and do some other things, they can only do with adult supervision. How can this be alright when all these other things are so wrong and disallowed?

This argument can then possibly be extended as reasoning to stop Plan B being made available over-the-counter to any women the same way there is a waiting/cooling down period in some states to purchase guns, so that no one is acting in rage and does something rashly that they may regret. But stopping adult women from making the decision, even without a doctor's prescription or advice is more difficult, because adults are supposed to have liberty and be able to make independent choices.  This is America.

Save your argument that Plan B destroys life for a Roe v. Wade debate. This is not an endorsement of that, but as one concerned about Plan B being so easily accessible, I have considered what is actually right, just, and fair to all according to American fundamentals, and not either my faith or preference. Legally, your arguments about Life is not proper here, and may work against you. The same way the Left lost the Gun Reform background check fight because they over reached the constitution itself, and over extended themselves.

Peace. Fight a good fight. Fight a well reasoned, lawful disciplined fight. That means regardless of your passion, you have to be mindful that we are American and that means Liberty and Justice for all. But we use our influence to convince. Remember. Jesus never came to tear down Rome as Israel thought. He came to build the people instead. There is a difference.

Peace Pastor Parsley.
