Vote People Not Parties

It's disconcerting when I hear more about casting votes for political parties; Democratic, Republican, or Independent, rather than for actual candidates, specifically President Obama or Mitt Romney. Using this method of selection, anyone can slide past the radar and be totally unprepared for office, and/or misrepresent hidden agendas.

If you check out candidates and each time you choose, it happens to be a Republican, fine and dandy. It's the same if each time your choice happens to be a Democrat. But think about what you are doing if you reverse the order and check the party view first, and then the candidate. Who actually proposes, votes and passes bills; makes laws? Who actually legislates? Who actually declares war. A political party or an individual? Voting for one just because of party affiliation alone and first is no different then voting for one or not voting for one because they are female/male, black/white/yellow/brown/red, or Jew/Gentile.

Please do your research. Vote people, not parties.
