Our Mind and Our Thoughts

Our Mind and Our Thoughts

So much to say, especially about words and thoughts. Are they in control of us or are we in control of them; the real and inner most us? A matrix, no doubt.

Answer: Whichever you allow to be in control, is in control. And what is the real us, anyway?

Freud's dissection of the mind comes into play. The mind/brain is indeed the last frontier. It has many layers we have yet to tap in to. And we have yet to fully perceive its connection to what we call the heart or affectionate emotions, either.

Just as, of my own will, I can speak contrary to my thoughts or feelings; misdirect or lie, I can also with my full will and control, think one thought and believe another. Imagination, for example, falls into this category.  It's the belief that's important and it takes a strong mind to keep your beliefs isolated and strong, while at the same time being able to open it up to all experiences.

Where can't I go? What can't I see and touch, or hear and not remain as I will, even as it is for the Omni-Present God, who's image and likeness I was made in, and recreated in? I exercise my senses daily. This is where we are to be now, in the age of this media on slaught and information deluge.  If you have to taste not, touch not, see not etc, to spiritually survive and remain who you are, you are in trouble. When there's a flood, raise the standard.

Do all fantasy writers believe in witchcraft, like Harry Potter for example? Or, do those that write about aliens, and all things space, like Star Wars or Star Trek for example, necessarily believe in all they write? Will it or must it manifest? No. But it is still their thoughts. It may possibly be a manifestation of a desire and openness to a possibility that the things they write were true or could be, in some ways, if not exactly.  Yet, these thoughts specifically are not so, and have not become so just because they thought it. If the things were true or possible, but they didn't know it, a path to make it so can be created, however. Look how many inventions came as a result of the imagination of Gene Roddenberry and how it aided social progress and equality over our differences.

These things that I write are true for good and evil. It takes a strong mind and heart to make it believe and flow to where you want it to, by believing that only. Without an inner strength, every thought will control. Without that strength, as adults, the only other option is some kind of pseudo parental control, or self enslavement. Neither is an option for me. Self control is the way and God's goal. It can only be judged by freedom. This doesn't mean you HAVE to do every thing, only that you HAVE to decide what to do or not do for yourself, can reason that decision, and have to leave very few things off the table. Here, even in servitude, you are free. With that said, it is important to note, that the good, do good, and seek that out, and DO NO HARM to others.

Time to address all. How can we address mental health, and why people do bad things, unless we go here and understand these things. This ain't a religious thing. It's a human thing.
