Please Do Not Attack America or American Justice. They Are Not At Fault, But Were Manipulated: Under Existing Florida Laws, Where is George Zimmerman's Case For Self-Defense?
I so love this country and its Justice System. Not only is the Zimmerman acquittal a miscarriage of justice, and not about race, Florida's Stand Your Ground isn't the real issue either.
Being Miss American Justice and Enforcement, if George Zimmerman and his team had won on a loophole in the law, and his defense definitely fell within the parameters of the law; Stand Your Ground or any other, I would now be defending him and the system. I still find myself defending the law and system, but against this verdict that there may be true justice for Trayvon Martin, and for all people, so that Truth and Justice, and the American way, may be sustained, and shown to be as wonderful as they are and America is.
Peace and justice go together. There is a time to be angry, but non violence is the way. My bible teaches to BE angry, but not to sin. And I will obey.

That word "day" means era, moment, or movement.
How can I speak against the actions of Zimmerman and others, if my actions or my heart reflect the same? I will both speak and do truth.
If you read the Stand Your Ground Law and its statutes, it does not support any defense of Zimmerman, based on his testimony, and on any facts or evidence. Though not perfectly either, the law would support Trayvon more so, had he survived and was charged with anything.
The issue I have with the case is that Zimmerman clearly broke the law and did not get off on a technicality, or because a flaw in the law and lawyers exploiting or litigating well. He, Zimmerman, simply got away with murder, because of the law not being properly applied or at all. Even the media, missed certain key points.
I did not follow the trial, only the events, evidence and facts. Per these, Zimmerman is guilty, even according to Florida's Stand Your Ground.

For those who do not like what is commonly called, "Castle" laws, "Draw The Line" and" Stand Your Ground" laws, I definitely understand why. These laws can be used, abused and manipulated to support murder, rather than defend. Also, especially in Florida, we have seen self defense claims triple, and many exonerated of unnecessary kills, and possible murders.
On the other side of the coin, as a defender of justice and law enforcement, the right of life and self protection, defense of home, family, and property, I clearly see these laws were put in place because exactly the opposite of what many do not like as a result of those laws were happening. Many citizens who truly were defending their homes, selves and others were being successfully sued and prosecuted for doing so, without these laws.
We must consider the whole matter. We must take every incident case by case and scrutinize it through what is lawful and right, and leave out personal past experiences.
Looking strictly at the law as is, George Zimmerman is guilty of the manslaughter of Trayvon Martin, regardless of any race factor. We can examine race in judging Zimmerman's frame of mind, and reasonableness of his actions. In that, race is a factor. He clearly said things that leads one to believe he may have had a problem with blacks and/or young people dressed a certain way. But I implore all to not make this case, an example of a racist system of Justice. That can not be proved. And the system is not.
Stand Your Ground does not support following or stalking the possible threat, while you're on the phone with 911, the police.
The only possible good, lawful defense of Zimmerman, could have been, sub-section (3) of Stand Your Ground. It reads:
(3) A person who is not engaged in an unlawful activity and who is attacked in any other place where he or she has a right to be has no duty to retreat and has the right to stand his or her ground and meet force with force, including deadly force if he or she reasonably believes it is necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony.
But due to facts, according to Zimmerman's 911 call and the transcripts, this can be quickly rejected. Though not explicit, just as in the case of the Second Amendment, and Justice Scalia's conclusion that the Second is not "unlimited", though not clearly stated, so must we use reason in the case against George Zimmerman and conclude section 3 is not unlimited unless chaos and legal, justified anarchy ensues everywhere. And we are close, if we do not nip this in the bud, now.
It is not reasonable to justify homicide, using self defense, using subsection 3 of Stand Your Ground, in Florida, if the one "preventing death or great bodily harm" makes himself the aggressor, and so his location, as described as "any other place" is now based on offensively moving forward. The entire law speaks of "not retreating" or "standing ground" , but not moving aggressively forward, unless you yourself are law enforcement. I do not believe Neighborhood Watch counts.
We definitely have a clear miscarriage of justice which is dangerous to us all, and threatens every American's life, and liberty. Who will fear killing any one, if the land is unjust? Yes. We can not prove why there was no justice; ignorance, incompetence, oversight, race, the stars aligned wrong. We only know, and can prove that there was injustice. We must repair the breach before all the walls tumble down.
There will be peace, as in no violence. But the voice of rightful, just, and moral agitators; stirring up real peace, not trouble, must be and will be heard for every one's sake.
Being pro protection, defense and law enforcement, I like the laws in question, though some may need to be refined. I will keep saying and insisting and insisting that it is not the laws and systems of America. They are near perfect. It is the integrity and morality of people, or lack of these, and sometimes of knowledge, that is the real issue right now in America. It is a heart thing.
