@JoyceMeyer And repent. Forgiveness is always here, but the entire gospel is about it being received by repentance. When we skip steps, the world does, too. Then, even if we do better, another keeps doing wrong. Look at the world. All move forward, no1 says they're wrong. Do you know I was chastised by a minister, pastor and boss for saying I'm sorry when I was wrong or just to reconcile? Do we not teach our children to forgive and repent! Yes we do. Beyond religion even, it is right. This is right. The fact that still one side; forgiveness is taught and not the other says a lot. Reconciliation means there's peace by  forgiveness, and the otherside saying I'm sorry. You can't even say there was an I'm sorry when the offense haven't ceased.  I pray the Church hears.
